I've been working on the room systems the last few days. It was fiddly to get working, transitioning between the procedurally generated world and the rooms (mainly disabling chunk rendering). Edge cases like what to do if you close the game when inside a room etc. #gamedev #indiedev #gaming

day 11 of Mu ✨ hard at work! implemented the reputation system. which almost means all core systems are covered and working and now need to be filled up/fleshed out. couple of tweaks to fog and lighting and i think im really starting to get exactly what im aiming for. #gamedev #indiedev #gaming

day 10 of Mu 🌿 i've sank a bunch of time into overcomplicating navigation. it's caused quite a bit of stress, so i've been reimplementing just using NavMesh, which just generates at runtime as the terrain is generated. i've also upgraded fully to Unity 6, as i was quite behind. #gamedev

day 9 working on Mu 🌿 hard at work today to make some snappy progress. overhauling the pathfinding system, the player and npcs will use this to navigate around the island. #gamedev #indiedev #majorupdate
