I want to know whose leash he’s on. From the interaction with Husk, he’s clearly sensitive about it.

Makes sense. I especially like how this show tackles the trauma bond a victim can form with an abuser, and complicated feelings between them. The scene where Husk (despite being on Alastor’s leash) tries to give him advice and then is “put in his place” and looks dejected felt relatable to me.

We’re also plural. I like that part of his survival is just protecting his soul from being lost to the trauma, since Sir Pentious kind of demonstrates the hotel’s “success” requires a soul to die from hell and be reborn in heaven.

This. I like the realistic depiction of someone in a situation where “just be assertive” isn’t enough. The part where he’s sorry he even told Charlie because he knew a good natured person trying to help would get him into more trouble was really relatable.

100%. Felt the same way. I can see how someone might look at him and say, “That’s not my experience,” but he’s not supposed to represent everyone’s exact experience. He’s just a real person in a mess of a situation that lacks easy answers.

There’s also a scene where he tries to recruit new “talent,” and he makes it sound like as long as the person is into the kind of sex he’s filming and eager to please, they’ll be a star living a glamorous life. You can tell Angel relates to their naivety, hearing those words, and wants to help them.

I loved the depiction of Angel Dust because he’s such a real, relatable person. I especially loved the way he started to carve out little pockets of freedom in a trapped life. That’s a real survivor experience that’s not talked about much.

That’s the sense I got from “Poison.” “I should have guessed that this would happen - I should’ve known it when I looked in your red hot eyes, spewing all your red hot lies.” He didn’t know Valentino was lying to him at the time, but because hindsight is 20/20, he says, “I can only blame myself.”

I am surprised that the bible belt states haven't erupted in anger over no access to pornhub yet
