For my fellow Ninja Gaiden lovers, if you've never seen it, the 1991 Ninja Ryukenden OVA is a surprisingly good bit of no-nonsense action animation based on the original NES games. @kinekovideo.bsky.social did a very nice rip of the LaserDisc you can watch on YouTube!

I set up this space so all my capture devices (Analogue Pocket, PS2 etc) run through this monitor (and then through an Elgato to my PC) so I can just swap out sticks for arcade jams

“Gaming budgets have exploded in recent years, as expectations have grown for how much content is included in a game.” Which person that plays #videogames today believes they’re getting more content today than in the past. Games today are designed with DLC in mind to charge more.

Man, watching people speedrun their way to INNOVATIVE NINTENDO IS DEAD DEAD DEAD over a focused reveal video is just exhausting. I think it's OK to have some (fairly complicated) thoughts about how they've handled it so far, but christ, this thing's going to be around for the next decade, breathe.
