...My heart found a new rhythm, one it's never known, and all feeling is double the feeling now. When I even look at her, there's this firm pressure to perform and succeed.” -The Drunk, The Gambler, and The Lover Now on Amazon and for order at your local store and library.

There's a new book by a trans author dropping today, I hear.

Tolstoy kept a copy of The Brothers Karamazov by his bedside. He learned from the best.

There are ways to make it profitable. It just takes a long time to see it.

It's destiny. Like, I HAVE to write that story.

As another transfem writer, it's oddly relatable.

Why did you have to do that? Hmm?

These cycles keep repeating. Love. Literature. Nature. Absence of love. Retreat into literature. Safety of nature. Attempt at love. Finding meaning in literature. The power to change perspective through nature. What. Why. Where are we going with all of this. Society is a sham, OK. But again. Again.

It definitely does not read like a Proust clone. You can definitely see how he influenced her, but her book is actually readable lol. The writing winds up here and there, but then there are just lines that jump out at you that no one would think of unless theyve lived lives, one as each sex. Truths.

I have not read Nevada or Detransition, Baby but Orlando has been a good start. It takes half of the book to get to the point of it all, but it's very pleasant once there. It's more about the differences between the sexes than anything else, and it's good for that.
