Free entertainment tonight is provided by a local cover band performing in the nearby park. They’ve done all the 80s pub-rock hits, including a good sprinkling of Australian classics, and are now - nearly 3 hours in - regressing into 70s disco hits.

Art of the unexpected: Dale Chihuly created this sculpture for an exhibition in the Adelaide Botanic Gardens. It was originally a dense lime green, but because he used polyvitro instead of glass it has faded in the UV 12+ sunlight. Fitting, as the exhibit is designed to span 3 seasons: timely art.

I think it's important to emphasise this, as in my experience, men think that this DOESN'T APPLY TO THEM. That the patriarchy doesn't exist. That they, somehow, escaped the privilege of starting with the x2 and it's other men who are the problem. 🧪 #WomenInSTEM
