Almost ended a very clean honor mode run in the stupidest way possible. Don’t try to have Astarion sneak steal the rune powder. Philomeen WILL blow that shit up. Thank god for Karlach’s fire resistance! #baldursgate3

Not a day went by when Biden was POTUS that Trump just sat quietly by. He attacked Biden and Dems everyday and never stopped. Very disappointed in Biden and Obama for not being front and center everyday while Trump blames Zelensky for a war he didn't start and sides with despots to enrich himself.

2025 reading challenge Book 14/100: Amari and the Night Brothers by B.B. Alston This was a really fun take on a secret magical world. There was good mystery and fun characters. Dr. Moreau was an interesting villain choice for a novel like this, but I’m here for it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 #booksky 📚💙

My mental health: in shambles My physical heath: in shambles My emotional health: buddy, you're not gonna believe this

2025 Reading Challenge 13/100: Immortal Longings by Chloe Gong Oh boy, this one made me sad. I think this would have been better as a single, stand-alone. Wasn’t too invested in the romance which makes it hard to buy into the climax. Disappointing after Foul Lady Fortune. 2.5 stars #booksky 📚💙

All of this could have been avoided by just having everyone who showed up for Biden and Dems in 2020 show up for Harris and Dems in 2024. It was literally that easy. We are facing down untold suffering, disease, disaster, and death b/c of ridiculous "Both sides are the same" nonsense.

You think I - who is petty AF and will forever acknowledge #Pluto as planet - will *ever* call it the ‘gulf of america’? Hah. Hahaha. Hahahahahha. GFOH.

2025 Reading Challenge Book 12/100: Children of Blood and Bones by Tomi Adeyemi Definitely don’t have enough characters to gush about this book. I loved all of it. Everything felt purposeful and well thought out. Characters were very believable (especially you, Inan). 5 stars #booksky 📚💙

2025 Reading Challenge Book 11/100: a Song of Wraiths and Ruin I wanted to like this one more than I did. The world and magic had a lot of potential, but I was more interested in that than anything happening in the actual plot. 2.75 stars #booksky 📚💙

Book buying today. I have no self control. Or shelf control. Neither exists within me. #booksky 📚💙

Alt text: picture of women of different skin colors underneath the words Don’t quit, don’t resign. They are standing over the words stay strong and hold the line and the seals of different government agencies.

J.K. Rowling is celebrating a rapist who’s been instrumental in taking rights away from women. I don’t have to say anything else. Her hateful fans—who always threaten and insult me for days whenever she says something and I comment about it—must be super happy.

I’m growing to really hate Inan. 😭 #childrenofbloodandbone #booksky 📚💙

Since I saw a comment saying that booksky is meant to be a “safe place away from politics” I feel encouraged to post this reminder: Reading is political. And if you disagree, the block button’s free. Please use it. Thank you.

Hey so FYI this is why a lot of us believe billionaires should not exist. Because no one should be rich enough to topple a government

2035 Book 10/100: Juniper and Thorn by Ava Reid. I have too many thoughts to fit into the Bluesky character limit. But this book is - so far - my favorite one I’ve read this year. The prose, the characters, the story, the growth. I loved it all. 5 stars #booksky 📚💙

People are like 'take care of your mental health' and, yes, obviously! But I can't get my brain to think about anything else.

The last thing I'll say is if you're outside of the US— Look at what's happening as a lesson to take your country/local politics and elections seriously. The political trends in other countries around the globe are growing more right-wing and are not so far behind what's happening here in the US.
