Went on FB to post some strategic voting advice and made the mistake of reading comments from people who are convinced that the CPC is the only way to save Canada. They seem seriously misinformed nor do they really seem to want to be informed. All they were was emotional and determined. 🫣

Please look up the strategic voting suggestions in your riding... and vote strategically. Given the issues down south, the impact of our election goes way beyond our border. youtube.com/shorts/n4RpD... votewell.ca #canada #canadianelections

he draws a distinction between freedom "from" and freedom "to." Freedom "to" is active, entails community, responsibility, fidelity to reason. Freedom "from" is now the dominant definition of freedom, a definition that is undermining the very notion of freedom itself. www.cbc.ca/radio/ideas/...

The days of Google Docs are ending; we enter the age of Docs, made by France's Interministerial Directorate for Digital Affairs and Germany's Center for Digital Sovereignty of Public Administration. We need more governments to collaborate on public software projects to achieve digital sovereignty.

Check for your local strategic vote: votewell.ca (For non-Canadians we have three center to left parties and only one right wing party. Dividing the left vote is an issue.) #canada #canadavote #canadaelection

Why should we vote for someone who is afraid to answer questions about their policies? Accountability is key to good government. And it is pretty clear who is afraid of accountability.

My latest recipe was developed as a way to use up a lot of flavored yogurt. It ended up being a favorite because of how simple it is. Simply mix 5 ingredients together, bake, and eat! berriesandbarnacles.com/quick-flavor...

Both of the strategic voting websites recommend opposite voting strategies for the Saanich / Gulf Islands. smartvoting.ca/ridings/fede... Recommends voting liberal. votewell.ca Recommends voting green. Meanwhile... how is the Conservative candidate in the lead? #saturnaisland #mayne #pender

Sometimes I want to live like Apollo... he is literally a walking plush toy and isn't afraid to ask for whatever it is he wants (food, cuddles, the warmest place on the bed). He is also blissfully unaware of the politics of mealtimes and the hierarchy of the toys.

They are now estimating 2.3 million across the country. Keep it going folks. #handsoff #50501protests

#fivelittleindians is a very readable book exploring some of the consequences of the Church-run residential schools in British Columbia. It captures difficult subjects and resiliency in a way that is honest and hopeful. #books #indigenousbooks

Our election choice is: Carney (world renowned economist, famous for helping countries navigate tough economic times) & Pollievre (won’t get security clearance, won’t allow reporters to travel with him, is already benefiting from an uptick of social media misinformation)

Spending March break in France with my family. Every time we are asked where we are from there is a distinct change in expression when we say that we’re from Canada. It can be a bright smile or a sudden excitement to talk with us. The feeling is palpable. Everyone supports Canada.
