Please sign up if you possibly can. We were amazingly fortunate that older daughter was the 1 in 4 chance of a match for younger daughter. So many patients don't have that luck.

Garden question. If a plant is described as a great self seeder, why does the guidance from the seed company say to sow indoors, harden off etc. Nature won't be doing that so why should I? #LazyGardener

A quick evening frog count and there were *19* pairs, plus another half dozen just chilling by themselves. This is in a suburban back garden pond measuring about 2mx1m that I dug out as a half term project 5 years ago. Truly if you build it they will come! #MediumSizedPond #wildlife #amphibians

Pondwatch time! It's definitely warmed up out there and so have the frogs: on Monday the surface of the #MediumSizedPond was frozen over, tonight I counted 16 in pairs and singles. #frogs #amphibians @arc-trust.bsky.social

Great thread. I'm not the only history lecturer who expends significant effort trying to get students to go and find the book they need in the library in order to force the realisation that the books next to and near it -- which they didn't know existed -- are going to help them too.

Very small chance but if any of my followers have visited/will be at the V&A lately/soon, are you able to identify this dress? 16yo took a photo on a recent visit but we can't find it on the collection search.

We have 9 clumps of snowdrops in the front lawnwhich have appeared all by themselves over the last 5 years and this year a new double snowdrop has joined the party! Not sure where they came from as we haven't planted any, but very happy to see them every spring. @bsbibotany.bsky.social
