A quick evening frog count and there were 19 pairs, plus another half dozen just chilling by themselves. This is in a suburban back garden pond measuring about 2mx1m that I dug out as a half term project 5 years ago. Truly if you build it they will come! #MediumSizedPond #wildlife #amphibians

We have 9 clumps of snowdrops in the front lawnwhich have appeared all by themselves over the last 5 years and this year a new double snowdrop has joined the party! Not sure where they came from as we haven't planted any, but very happy to see them every spring. @bsbibotany.bsky.social
