Team Katie hosting a weekend of canvasses. We are also looking to hire a paid canvasser to support these efforts. Interested folks should email: [email protected] www.mobilize.us/katieforcoun...

When it comes to setting a budget and spending your tax dollars wisely, I get the job done. 💪 In these turbulent times, Minneapolis needs leadership with effective budget experience and a proven ability to partner collaboratively. That’s how we will be able to weather the unknown—together.

It's less than a week before the DFL Caucus, and I hope you're as excited as I am to stand alongside neighbors and shape the future of our city! For my last pre-Caucus Meet & Greet I'll be joined by mayoral candidate Council Member Emily Koski. See you Saturday!

Minneapolis deserves a Mayor who will center residents, and that means making sure our students have a seat at the table. Kavya is an exceptional student leader who has worked tirelessly to promote civic engagement on campus and beyond. I’m honored to have earned her trust with this endorsement.

I served as Budget Chair in my first 2 years on City Council. In that time, I transformed how our budget process worked by instituting work plans and setting priorities so that our legislative body worked strategically and efficiently. The end result? A process that was exceedingly collaborative.

This Saturday! Join me and @elliottpayne.org for a meet and greet at the Briar in Northeast. I want to hear all your hopes and dreams for our city. More info and RSVP: mobilize.us/s/DjQ8at

Now is the time for us to think big about how we make Minneapolis a family-friendly destination!

At the U of M showing up in support of protecting our U of M workers and students from Trump’s attacks. On this trans day of visibility, we must remember that our struggles are interconnected. Together, we have power. And together, we will fight back against all authoritarian attacks.

I really love the 8-80 cities vibe I keep getting from Koski’s mayoral campaign

Minneapolis parents: do you think our city has gotten more family friendly in the last 8 years? I don’t. My friends with littles say on weekends & non-school days they go to the suburbs where they have options like indoor playgrounds. It’s time we change that & make downtown a place for everyone.

The international graduate student was enrolled at the school’s Twin Cities campus, according to the email sent Friday evening.

I know what I can do as an individual person. I want to know what I can do as a state legislator. Because this is the whole thing, we’re over if we let this stand or continue.

As a graduate student at the University of Minnesota; I am deeply troubled by the news of a fellow student’s detainment. We await more information; but in a time when this administration has recklessly flaunted due process any of these actions raise real fears. We all deserve safety.

This is another chilling reminder that the Trump administration has a blatant disregard to the Constitution. I will be in touch with our Congressional delegation. As we await details, it's important for all of us to be vigilant in knowing and exercising our rights: www.aclu.org/know-your-ri...

Thank you @katiecashman.bsky.social for your support! We serve on the Climate & Infrastructure Committee where she brings important expertise successfully integrating sustainability & public works so we can build a more resilient city. I’m excited to continue our partnership as your next Mayor.

I am like Costco: committed to DEI and maintaining affordability.

I am proud and honored to be endorsed by Council Member Emily Koski. We share a commitment to putting our constituents first and she has been a dependable leader on the Council. Here’s what she had to say in her endorsement of my reelection campaign: “Katie Cashman is a (1/3)

Just donated to the Koski and Cashman campaigns. It feels good to have smart, caring candidates to support in Minneapolis. They truly seem to want to put in the work to make things better.

Thank you @katiecashman.bsky.social for your support! We serve on the Climate & Infrastructure Committee where she brings important expertise successfully integrating sustainability & public works so we can build a more resilient city. I’m excited to continue our partnership as your next Mayor.

We had an incredible event last night talking about what’s possible under new leadership in Minneapolis: the future of public safety, how we can support our schools, and (my passion) outcomes based budgeting. You deserve a Mayor capable of thinking bigger about our city, and I’m ready to lead.

I stopped by Clancey's Meats yesterday and to my surprise and joy I met my dad’s former high school classmates! It was a great opportunity to learn about their childhood experiences and ideas to strengthen Minneapolis for future generations.

I wasn’t MIA. When it mattered the most, I showed up for our teachers and educators. Strong schools make a strong city, and that starts with creating fair, safe, and supportive working conditions in our classrooms.

With precinct caucuses coming up on April 8th, our team is here to help anyone new to the process! Caucuses are the first step in the DFL endorsement and, like our democracy, work best when we all show up. Join us for an upcoming training on 4/2 or 4/7: mobilize.us/emilykoskiformpls

Tomorrow at 6pm, the one and only @dbrauer.bsky.social is hosting a fundraiser for my campaign and all are welcome! Come join us to support a new era of leadership in Minneapolis. Together, we can chart a new path forward so our city reaches its full potential: mobilize.us/s/y3mpES

Strong partnerships w state leaders are critical to strengthen our metro. From building resilient infrastructure, defending reproductive freedom & public schools, our work is interconnected. I’m honored to have Sen. Johnson Stewart’s support, one of many strong relationships I have at the Capitol.

If it sounds like I'm fed up, its because I am. The Mayor shuts down any duly elected Council Member when they don’t serve his interests no questions asked. I know because I'm one of them. It's an injustice to the thousands of residents who elected us and are also his constituents.

when asked how college dems can get involved w/ their campaigns at the UofM College Dems Minneapolis Mayoral candidate forum tonight, the only candidates that said “caucus April 8th!!” were senator @omarfatehmn.com & @emilykoskimpls.bsky.social. thank u both!! 💙💙

Good 🧵 here with early look at campaign back-and-forths. Frey is a decent debater, and will make sure he gets his rebuttals. Challengers need to work on making sure they’re specific in their callouts & rebuttals; you can get under his skin once you know his lines, as Koski does in one of the vids.

Thank you so much to the many friends, supporters, & community leaders who came to our event today! It meant so much to gather and celebrate Women’s History Month together. A new era of leadership is possible and we’re on our way to writing a new chapter of Minneapolis history. Let’s get to work!

John is right: I don’t support withdrawing our city from NATO. 😆

I believe productive relationships are how we strengthen Minneapolis during the chaos of Trump. Thank you US Rep. @ilhan for your kind words about our partnership working together and for rising to the moment with your leadership. Note: This video does not reflect a campaign endorsement

Reminder: I’m co-hosting a fundraiser for @emilykoskimpls.bsky.social next Wednesday 3/26. Frey’s campaign is counting on opponents having no money & we need to prove him wrong. (I’ll do @dewayneforminneapolis.com next; remember you get 3 choices!) www.mobilize.us/emilykoskifo...

I’m thrilled to share our speaking program for our Sunday event will include Council VP @aishaforward10.com & Sen. Johnson Stewart! Join me, @womenwinning.bsky.social & leaders from across our city and metro for this Women’s History Month celebration at ModernWell: secure.actblue.com/donate/emily...

Do you care about the city of Minneapolis? Wondering about who is running for mayor? I hope to see April 10, at the Minneapolis Area Senior Caucus Mayoral Forum at Sabathani Community Center. Six candidates, lots to discuss.

Precinct caucuses are just three weeks away! Join your neighbors on April 8th to share what matters most to you and sign up to be a delegate to be part of the DFL endorsement process this summer! A new era of leadership is possible but only if we all show up locally. EmilyKoskiforMpls.com/caucus

We deserve an administration that actually vets NGOs and does their due diligence on proposals to help our communities. Not @mayorfrey.com’s system of political patronage and rewarding whoever is loyal to him.

This is spot on. People should be irate at the managerial incompetence under the current mayor.
