Today my fellow candidates Jamie-Leigh, Heather, Jazmine and I enjoyed fielding questions in front of ~100 members of Activity Haven.

Housing is fundamental to wellbeing.

Last night we heard from Kathrine Williams whose story of homelessness showed us that it is too easy for a series of unfortunate events to coincide into ‘the perfect storm’ and upend a life.

It’s time to build. #BuildingCanadaStrong

Mark Carney and our Liberal team have a day-one plan to defend our national sovereignty. An unprecedented acceleration in defence spending will invest in the people of the Canadian Armed Forces, the equipment they rely on, and the land, aquatic and airborne infrastructure they need.

The subject of leadership was a thread that ran through the discussion at last night’s All Candidates Debate. Who is best to lead Canada through this tumultuous time?

Peterborough, you have a chance to do a good thing. Elect this candidate.

As the Canadian flag remains lowered on the Peace Tower on Parliament Hill today to commemorate those who fell or were wounded in the Battle of Vimy Ridge, I am prompted to take a moment for reflection.

It was a privilege to take part in the first All Candidate Debate this evening, focusing on business issues. It was truly amazing to see ~300 concerned voters come out and fill the chapel at Lakefield College School tonight.

I was honoured to welcome Bill Blair to our campaign office this morning, on his way through Peterborough.

It was such a pleasure to meet members of the Selwyn Council today. They are a group of dedicated, thoughtful folks working hard for their community every day. I understand first-hand that rural communities matter. Local leadership matters.

President Trump’s tariffs threaten Canadian industry, jobs, and our economy at large. This is particularly true in the agrifood sector. The Liberal government is committed to protecting Canadian agrifood workers across Canada, and in our own community.

I was honoured to be invited to join the Indo-Canadian Association of Peterborough last evening for chai. We shared some of the best samosas in Peterborough (thank you Dirty Burger on Hunter!) and discussed the amazing work they do to assist newcomers to the area make connections in our community.

The first two weeks of the campaign looked nothing like we expected— and like so many in our community, we shifted our focus to what mattered most: safety, support, and showing up for each other.

1,700 signs and counting! We’re so grateful for the overwhelming support across the Peterborough riding. Your sign makes a statement.

Good morning #ptbo 🌞 I'm off to install signs for Emma today. The office is open. For sign requests call 705 931-2528 or email [email protected] Or pick one up at 151 King Street, Peterborough

Talking to people at the doors, even in the rain, is so energizing because it reminds me over and over why I decided to step up to be the next M.P. for Peterborough riding: I truly want to know I’ve done everything possible to protect the future of our country, for my children, and every child.

My family and I spent time at the two Farmers Markets in Peterborough this morning. With baby snug in my coat, and our toddler distracted, Connor took his opportunity to vote while we were near the Elections Canada office in Peterborough Square.

A free event that describes itself as joyful, inclusive, and sometimes spontaneous and messy? A must go! The First Friday Art Crawl last night was all those things and more. I met talented artists and creatives, explored wonderful studio spaces, and got to know some great downtown Ptbo folks.
