Working on adding XLIFF format support on Polygot (for Angular projects): I hate it

Just did a phone call with a former colleague to talk about my new app Polygot Asked him if he had any problems with his translation process: turned out he has, and he's interested in such a solution (need to make some tweaks though) Hopefully that's the beginning of something great! #buildinpublic

Do you guys translate your app into multiple languages? 🌍 If so, why? If not, why? 🤔 I need to understand what's stopping people from doing it, vs what makes others doing it, in order to better target my marketing strategy for my new product. Please share your experience! 🤗 #buildinpublic

@nuxt.com developers: learn how to make your app international and how to handle dozens of languages automagically ✨🌎 #i18n #l10n polygothq.com/blog/nuxt-i1...

I just added the glossaries feature to Polygot ✨ It took me longer than expected, but I'm very happy to have added this much-needed feature, allowing users to use terms specific to their application and market, in order to generate high-quality, consistent translations 🌍🚀 #buildinpublic #i18n

Show off a little, show me your animations 😎

Had fun building this little animation on Polygot's landing page. Not the most sophisticated one, but I like it 🙂 #buildinpublic

Damn Cloudflare Workerd, you almost got me #buildinpublic

I took a 2 week break for the end of 2024, and I needed it. I had a lot of fun in 2024, but without any real results my motivation was decreasing. I also know my motivation works in cycles, and I'm OK with that now. Now let's get those results for 2025! 🚀 #buildinpublic

I've started writing guides on the @PolygotHQ blog. The goal: to attract users by integrating Polygot as a necessary element for effective internationalization. Next steps: - write other integration guides - make YT tutorial videos from the blog posts #buildinpublic

It's almost the end of the year. It's time for a little summary of my apps' performance over the past 12 months. #buildinpublic ==> VisualPDF will hit 17M+ impressions on Google 😱 (+200%) How I did that in a very competitive niche, without even focusing on this app, 0 dollars spent on ads 👇🧵

These last few months as a 100% indie maker have gone by at breakneck speed. #buildinpublic Day by day I haven't felt like I've been moving fast enough, but looking back I realise just how much work I've put in. A few lessons I've learn so far: 👇🧵

The Thunder Client extension for VS Code (HTTP request builder) is now unavailable for WSL (unless I pay for it) 😐 Do you guys have a nice alternative? #buildinpublic

Tell me that your SaaS found product market fit without telling me your SaaS found product market fit #buildinpublic

Any marketing books recommandations for solo makers? 📚 There are some interesting ones in the Bootstrapper’s Bookshelf from @arvidkahl.bsky.social, but I would also like to have the testimony of people who have applied the advice in the book and had results. #buildinpublic
