over Christmas week I had 6 requests to review journal articles and now the reminders are coming in. We do need to sort this out and respect the space people need rest and love the other parts of their lives #academicchatter any thoughts?

Passionate about #eatingdisorder research and looking for a #PhD? I have a self-funded PhD available looking at the multifaceted impact of technology for eating disorders. Lots of scope to shape it to suit your own interests in this area 😊 #cyberpsychology www.findaphd.com/phds/project...

If you research data from the Crime Survey for England and Wales, you might want to present it at the Crime Surveys User Conference in March. Always lots of interesting presentations!. #UKDSCrime25

“Allyship is a verb, not a noun. Allyship is with, not for. Men are part of the problem but we can also be part of the solution.” I had the privilege to address the Women In Sport conference today & on what men need to do We’re not going to eliminate abuse by just dealing with the symptoms

@agreenpsych.bsky.social good to see you here Andy 👋

Have thoroughly enjoyed Airhead by @emilymaitlis.bsky.social a glimpse behind the news, and a full account of the toll the job takes along with the rewards it brings. An extraordinary life

If you don’t know about Sophie Lancaster Foundation I really encourage you to find out more

What is Bluesky and why are so many people suddenly leaving X for the platform?

I’m enjoying exploring bluesky, the freedom to do that safely is so welcome! And so many social scientists and cyber people here, that can be found easily.

"We are looking for applicants with scientific expertise in: behavioural science anthropology human geography engineering medical science political science economics artificial Intelligence migration fraud and democratic/state threats public safety"

This is a great guide to getting started on here! Aimed ay scientists - but useful for anyone tbh! Key point - likes are only to let the author know you liked their post. It doesn’t affect the algorithm- because there isn’t one! Reposts will share it with others ☺️

I’ve just arrived here, leaving X behind for now, so far I haven’t found many people I know and I’m looking for #cyberpsychology chat and #academicchatter
