This is absolutely brutal, but fair:

Tesla fanboys all across social media today are barely able to contain themselves, predicting Musk will pull a rabbit out of his hat during the company's earnings call later. Short of a stock buyback (it has $37 billion in cash) not sure what they realistically expect.

They knew better but the rage-dopamine was too much. "Ohio farmers remember how Trump's last fight with China played out... But this time is different: The White House is sparring with more than just China, & relationships with Canada & Mexico that are key to agriculture could also be in jeopardy."

JONAS on $TSLA: “Hang on for some weak numbers. .. We forecast 1Q auto margins (ex ZEV) of 12.7%. Recent discussions with investors revealed expectations as low as 10% .. the consensus 4.1% GAAP OP margin would imply an underlying auto margin (ex Energy, software, etc) of break-even at best.”

Beyond parody headline in the NYT. Can't decide whether they're deliberately trolling us at this point, or whether they need to fire all their headline writers.

I’m old enough to remember when conservatives got mad because they thought women were having babies to get cash

Down to 42 percent approval.

Ooh I think this is so good. Is it because I deeply dislike Bill Maher? Didn't hurt. Bravo Larry! www.nytimes.com/2025/04/21/o...

An executive order is not a law, nor is it a constitutional amendment. She might save her wrath for the time a school district does something serious, like Signal chats secret war plans to a brother-in-law or something.

Introducing: All Rise News Our current system of journalism omits critical context: what we can do about the terrible things we read about. We’ll report breaking news, then show you how to turn it into action. www.allrisenews.com/p/fearless-j...

Launching today: @www.allrisenews.com! Fearless journalism about the law, your rights, and your powers to effect change in the Trump era. Co-founded by me and my friend @timkmak.bsky.social. We report critical context others leave out: How you can act on the headlines. www.allrisenews.com/about

Or maybe everybody else is getting dumber.

Pope Francis taking the opportunity to let JD Vance know he sucks right before he died is pretty badass. R.I.P. King.

Lee Zeldin has already been confirmed to a cabinet post. Count on Trump making him "acting" SECDEF (i.e. no new confirmation hearing) and then moving on as if nothing happened.

"...anyone that thinks the brand damage Musk has inflicted is not a real thing... spend some time speaking to car buyers in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. You will think differently after those discussions.” The biggest Tesla cheerleader on Wall Street is calling a "Code Red."

He’s going to need to fire at least five more Pentagon officials for this www.nytimes.com/2025/04/20/u...

When you defy court orders and deny one man his Constitutional rights, you threaten them for ALL. Trump can post all he wants, but a federal judge said there's “no evidence linking Abrego Garcia to MS-13 or to any terrorist activity.” Trump needs to put up or shut up IN COURT.

lol. We’re hitting 13, soon to be 14

Alito appears very upset that SCOTUS did not slow-roll the rendition of immigrants to a death camp in the same manner it slow-rolled the Trump immunity case. It's also like he's asking, "What good is it to stack the courts with extremist right-wing judges in Texas if we can't hurt people?"

This piece is as maddening and sickening as it is frightening.

The Trump Administration continues to thumb its nose at the federal courts.

Shut up. No way.

Good morning ☕️ The girls are 1 today.

This guy spent years working with Jim Jordan on the "Biden Crime Family" narrative and he lost his job in Musk's power move to take over the IRS.

Hi Charlie Brown. Let me introduce you to Lucy and her magic football. Let's save everybody the trouble and just acknowledge that blue states are never, ever getting back their deduction for state and local taxes.

GM is aiming to release a $28,000 Chevrolet Bolt EV later this year. It is now retooling its plant in Fairfax, Kansas to build them. If Tesla had any hope of saving its U.S. car sales, it was to put out competitive, affordable EVs. It just said it cannot do that.

"This isn’t governance. This is payback politics. It’s not 'America First.' It’s 'Trump First, Everyone Else; Pay Cash or Get Lost.'

You. Could. Be. Next.

Does Trump's pardon power work in Canada?

I miss the kind Fox News we got when a Democrat was president.

If you’re changing the definition of human rights, it means you plan on violating people’s human rights.

I just misread the phrase "sleep scientist" as "sleep activist" and now I'm re-thinking everything.

New: US appeals court for 4th circuit smacks down the Trump administration’s appeal to avoid disclosing what steps it has taken to return Abrego Garcia “We shall not micromanage the efforts of a fine district judge attempting to implement the Supreme Court’s recent decision”

I can't wait to see this guy in the box at the war crimes trial.

The mind of maga

This has already begun.

Trump can’t actually fire Jay Powell; he can only demote him. But let’s say he is able to somehow strong arm the Fed to pull down interest rates. Tariffs are creating an inflationary environment that will only get worse unless Congress puts a stop to this nonsense

"Subject has no criminal history." Imagine the lawsuits against Bondi, Rubio, Vance & Trump.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio just sat down for a one-on-one interview with a man who, as @brandyzadrozny.bsky.social has reported, has claimed that "Jewish influence on the West" has led to "white genocide" and once said "Hitler actually had some decent points." www.nbcnews.com/tech/interne...
