I destroy the book to scan each image on a flatbed pressed down. In this book's case, I had to scan each page twice because it was too large for the scanner bed, I then finished in Photoshop.
Also modern scanners are not useful for high resolution color archiving. I use an Epson V500 Perfection.

Do!!!! A LOT of brilliant digitization and archival work will just disappear because it hasn't been distributed enough to survive. I've already found gems I didn't even know about, like the Utena laser disk scans someone put up.

The really cool part is the lot I got is from episode 6, which got produced as episode 8 but finished faster, the storyboards also! So I can even tell you which shot these are!
