This highlights why presidents don't have tariff powers unless there's an emergency (which there's not). Trump came perilously close to tanking the bond market. While the GOP allows him to exceed his authority, it's ludicrous for credit agencies not to downgrade the US and it's 36T debt.

How did I miss Canada cutting all ties with USA? Would love to see the rest of the world grow a spine and do likewise.

Is Hegseth referring to himself here? No wonder he drinks

What's scary is how fast we're all becoming numb to the dumb fuckery in the whitehouse. Dems waiting for the GOP to hang themselves or, to impeach or, whatever other sane action they could take is akin to a surgeon waiting for the anaesthetic to kick in.

Day three of monotonous Z transforms. This is the stuff of life... right???

Wouldn't take this at face value. My guess is this is a "look over here, shiny!!" kind of distraction to get the media frenzied while he sneaks through some other heinous shit

Ew, watching MAFS and the judges this year have been massively cringe with double standards. Happy to attack men and make them cry but one of the wives acts poorly and it's a chance to shame the husband more. Some of the guys are awful, but call out gaslighting and intimidation wherever it lies.

Rofl, sounds like US kids should learn to kick better rather than crying about Aussies getting scholarships. www.abc.net.au/news/2025-03...

At some point, is it worth NATO and the UN saying that any aggression towards Greenland will be met with a joint military defence and economic sanctions?

🤣🤣🤣

Trudeau: "He talked about banking again today in a tweet, which doesn't make any sense because 16 banks are currently active in Canada holding about $113b worth of assets in this country... what he wants is to see a total collapse of the Canadian economy, because that'll make it easier to annex us."
