“Why don’t they play popular music at the Super Bowl anymore.” — Man who thinks 1996 was 10 years ago.

What's an opinion you have that would make a bunch of people angry? Write it down in a notebook called, "Why would I want to make a bunch of people angry right now?" and then close that notebook and have some tea.

THE CHICAGO CUBS HAVE LANDED THEIR SUPERSTAR

A CHICAGO SPORTE TEAM MADE A GOOD DECISION TODAY

A lot of people are failing the "premeditated murder is bad" test and its wild.

A huge year for Jujutsu Kaisen openers

It may be (below) freezing, but she’s pretty #Chicago #morningwalks

"The problem of food deserts will not be solved without the rediscovery of the Robinson-Patman Act. Requiring a level pricing playing field would restore local retailers’ ability to compete." A good read on the Reagan administrations choice to end the enforcement of the RPA and its consequences.

One thing you’re going to get if you follow me, on top of milquetoast political takes and MLB complaints, is pictures of my cat. Sorry, dems da rules.

No thanks.

A great conversation about policing, social and environmental investment as a means of crime reduction, where police help and where they don't, how we handle disorder/reform, and more! Worth the listen(about 45m)!

A little teriyaki tofu and roasted broccoli over rice. #dinnertime

"If you’re able, give yourself a buffer day before going back to work, Dr. Gallagher advised. We started doing this years ago - total game changer and great advice!

Okay I just needed to wait a few minutes and Brett wrote exactly what I tried to convey but better. Thanks, Brett!

I'm whelmed. I wouldn't mind these kind of signings if the Cubs were serious about other top shelf free agents. Taking a chance on a guy who showed great stuff last year (after surgery and a career of mediocrity) is fine if you're also in on more certain, high performing players. The Cubs aren't.
