The world has been heavy. To honor my friend Laura Hartrich and her daughter Persephone, I made some improv quilt blocks and a ghostwriter made a written pattern. Find instructions on my website/blog: entropyalwayswinsblog.com/blog/ #flowersforpersephone

There is a strange gratitude I feel for the immediacies of dayjob. It’s easy to forget our current national emergency when without hyperbole lives are on the line. If u haven’t seen the series The Pitt , I strongly recommend it. It is the closest truth to my dayjob

For anyone looking for a fun creative distraction, the pattern for one of my latest quilts is in Quiltcon Magazine 2025 (seen here on the cover). It’s a fun way to play with my inset strip technique. Digital copies available: www.quiltingdaily.com/product-cate...

Excited for Quilt SF 2025 March 28th and 29th. The iconic Margaret Fabrizio has offered to open her gallery from 11am-2pm on Sunday March 30th to add a cherry topper to a fun quilt weekend. Contact Margaret if interested in joining us. [email protected]

I LOVE vintage fabric from the 1970s. Today I took out my “The Pinewood” print by Ronald Hansen-Denmark, 1970s. Hard to tell from the pic but it dark green and reaches floor to ceiling in my studio.

Today I got a chance to visit the Eames Institute on a tour led by the youngest Eames grandchild. It was incredibly inspiring and I highly recommend a visit for those interested in design. www.eamesinstitute.org (tickets go fast. Available at 10 am on the 1st of the month prior)
