Hallelujah indeed. I'll still have to pipe up when I hear a teacher stating it in a school I'm working though 🤦♂️

Argh, least your willing to get stuck in! Everyday is a school day as A TEP. Its the same once you qualify too 🤣
I cant complain, I'm very very busy, but that's how I like it 🤦♂️

Love this. I'm delivering a huge CoA intervention as part of a small team in a school at the moment and it's being wonderfully received. I used an adapted version for a LAC meeting the other day and it such a powerful tool! Lots of positive feedback from it ❤️

Exciting! I'll definitely be watching this space. Could be a whole intervention within itself 😍

This is absolutely brilliant @drfergy.bsky.social
I love the whole concept! Not just as a parent, but for young people to build positive, meaningful, trusting relationships with adults in multiple contexts!
Surely you have to mLe those something bigger, it's brilliant 👏

Unbelievable me what Nicole and Saeah have achieved with it... I love it, hence why I keep saying 'Yes' when they ask me 🤣
Your YouTube isn't playing in speed 1.5 by the way that's just me normally speaking 🤣🤣🤣

These are the general answers I got back Dan. Obviously it is something we always needs to be mindful of. When using AI I tend to steer away from using names, identifying features (e.g., school). You can take advantage of API access & enterprise solutions with enhanced data protection guarantees too

I don't get it to write it for me. I write it and get AI to assist me. Loses zero personal touch and is completely bespoke and person centred.
Takes me 10-15 mins max on top of my report time. Happy to share an example with you for you to see how personalised i make them.its been a gamechanger!

Pippa I currently write these after every single involvement and have received some amazing feedback of late!
Personally I think it's extremely important and something I value as part of my practice.
I have also found AI incredibly useful in the process and happy to share it with you if it helps

the hypothesising & recommendations are all part of our job role and what maks us unique. I guess the ethical responsibility lies with us at the end of the day, but im very surprised ive not come across more 'AI policies' from LA's, Independants etc as its clearly something everyone is playing with

minus all the ethical considerations around confidentiality, consent, data protection, and potential AI biases (learnt from the WWW), i think it will deskill a lot of our profession. I agree with @timinwinchester.bsky.social in that the writing process, the problem solving frameworks...

Oooh a bit of AI...
although not the ethical implications, these were the pros and cons from my presentation over 15 months ago... still very relevant.
The biggest one for me as a profession is the misue of AI. Many will misuse it and i see it as an extension of what we do... not what we do...

To be honest I'm not entirely sure how much information I'm allowed to share about our transition to non-traded at present, but its definitely happening and its something I'm hoping will be a positive step for the service and us EPs within it. Its allowing us to go back to a cluster-type type model

I consciously do all of these as well Jane just so my watch stops telling me I'm lazy 🤣🤣🤣
Your right about life long quest though! I need to remember it's a marathon not a sprint as my supervisor always tells me 🤦♂️

My LA do a wonderful job Jeni, I can't fault them. We're moving away from the traded model soon so hopefully that will have an impact too.
I guess it's a consequence of our reports holding so much weight in SEN too. I'm always overly conscious of what I write which takes up more time too.

They're not too badly priced now to be fair. I used to sell them before EP life so I know all about them 🤣
The TEP course doesn't prepare you for all the sitting down i should have said 🤣

Sorry to hear about your experience Sadzida, but i hope your enjoying the course and life as a TEP.
Think i need to do an adapted pomodpro timer for pushup during report writing or something 🤣

I do love a height adjustable desk and I miss my one. We have them in county hall but as you we'll know we work from home most of the time.
Might have to invest in another 🤣 I still get the gym every night buts its the lack of movement during the day 💀

Its difficult, it really is. My other half wants to start a family soon and Im seriously deliberating how on earth I would fit children into my days at present 😅 that isn't a thought i should be even thinking about. My perfectionist tendencies also plays a part but its a tough one
comment in response to

I am indeed, there very supportive. I can't help but think of the amount of EPs giving up their own time to complete reports though. I genuinely can not understand how a traded day fits into 7.4 hours as well 💀 just feel like my time would be better spent actually with these YP!
