Sigh. If you’re anti-Trump, why would you post multiple photos of him one after the other? I really don’t understand the “this is awful so I must share it” mentality. (Yes, I do unfollow. No, I don’t expect anyone to change. You do you! It’s cool! This is just a whine & grumble post.)

The fancy awards gala is tonight! So of course I messed about in the flowerbed after lunch, then took a nap & now my hair is all weird. It starts in 3 hours, so I have plenty of time to take another shower & start over, but I’m probably going to walk my dog instead. Glamour isn’t really my forte. 👩‍🌾

3 more weeks! I get to delete or unfollow every K-12 school email or social media account in 3 weeks. I’m so ready. I gave so many hours to our local schools, and got a lot of heartache in return. I’m so ready for my youngest to graduate so I can be DONE too. Other people can pick up the torch.

Lily & I almost got run over by a young driver who either didn’t know or didn’t care that a pedestrian crossing signal means people get to walk & drivers need to wait. It was close enough that I screamed & scrambled backwards, pulling Lily out of danger with her leash.

Snapshot: It was 80° earlier this week, and now it’s snowing. Oldest got new glasses & is wandering around the house commenting on how much better she can see. Youngest is listening to a classic jazz record. Husband is playing a video game. The dog is sleeping. I’m reading. It’s a cozy day.

My poor kid. He’s been watching The Beef. I haven’t. But I hang out with him occasionally while he’s watching it. And I ask him questions. Because I don’t know what’s going on. 😂 I have become my mother with her constant questions & interruptions & my poor kid has become me, patiently answering.
