Getting Started

A new post is up on the blog talking about zebra coloring. Are they black with white stripes, or white with black stripes?

Tomorrow is the opening day for Christmas on Mane Street. Here is the other side of "Sugarplum" with my hand for scale. He's TINY!

Just four more days until the start of Christmas on Mane Street. Quinn is hoping to meet everyone at the virtual cocktail party on opening night!

While I am happy to follow progressive accounts, as a working artist it is discouraging to me just how many of them share AI artwork. I am blocking that stuff. If I wanted to see cutesy animals with weird Thomas Kinkade lighting, I could just go back to Facebook.

This is what has been keeping me busy, at least during the hours I am not painting a whole bunch of (mostly) identical ponies. I am not sure it will be ready to go out the door in time for Christmas, but I am trying to make that happen!

There are always interesting colors at a Walking Horse show, but this wasn't something I expected to see: a cream pearl PRE.

This is the latest item out of the kiln - the first batch of the "Sugarplum" run. He's one of the smallest pieces produced here at Blackberry Lane at just 2" tall.

I like it here, but Blue Sky needs a few more pony pictures...

I figure I should decorate my new account with pictures of what I do. This is "Oliver", sculpted by Sarah Minkiewicz-Breunig and cast and custom glazed here at Blackberry Lane.
