Train no 3 but no visible clues to show you 🤷‍♀️. But its a red Eurostar and it takes about 3 hours .. 🤔

Sitting in a brasserie opposite Gare du Nord watching a lady, who obviously has mental health issues, performing a complicated dance routine involving half a loaf of sliced bread and an empty plastic bottle. No-one mocks and the traffic gently drives round her. These are my people 🥰

Gaze upon my Parisian dessert and be jealous ! Why has ĂŽle Flottante never caught on in the UK?

Plants and Wallace Fountains at the Marché aux Fleurs 🌹

The most disappointing find was that the Deportation Memorial is closed till Wednesday. I always try and visit. Interesting exhibition outside tho.

Well we did some Notre Dame but the queue was gigantic (reservations suspended because of the Pope’s funeral). So inside next time .

Eric’s ear and a clue to our first destination. Train no 2!

To London!! (Train no 1)

Summary of my first 3 days walking along the front 1 picture 1 location Can you recognise the locations in this 🧵

Eric is packed and ready for an adventure ! 🧸

My lovely little Twingo has had a slightly higher MOT bill than I was expecting. So, I’ve made a load of #ww1 and #ww2 original paintings available at heavily reduced prices, here: timgodden.co.uk/shop Please do take a look and I hope you find something you like.

“Gas Gas Gas!” Our audience are all prepared and wearing their Hypo Hoods ready for our April #HuttedHistories talk by Simon Jones tonight. #110YearsOfGasWarfare @simonjones.bsky.social

Stanley Tucci, it’s time to step up.

Not a bad quote to go out on.

When I was a nipper, my dad - an active trade unionist - took me to see the 'Memorial for Heroic Self-Sacrifice' in Postman's Park, not far from St Paul's. It was moving and inspiring to see working class folk (many of whom where children) being celebrated for their bravery #London #workingclass

Just under a month ago I rescued Maria as she was about to die. She hadn’t been to the toilet in weeks and she could no longer eat. Things look bleak. To see her today is just remarkable… (1/10) 🧵
