Morning from Kyiv, where the night was mostly calm. I had a good sleep, a warcoffee, and wrote a little. I recently started a new diary called A Long War. ‘If this war outlasts me, just know I did all I could to live it with dignity’ - I wrote that in it today.

Everywhere in Ukraine, you’ll find places commemorating fallen defenders in different ways. The one I saw in Poltava isn’t as large as in a Kyiv — but it’s still big. Even one lost life is too much. I want the world to see.

Morning from Poltava! It was a calm night here. Everywhere I go, I look for good coffee. For the past three years, it’s been warcoffee. There’s a café in Poltava called Blago Kava. They donate all their profits to the army. Local businesses supply them with coffee beans.

Cluster munitions, appearing as metallic spheres approximately 10 cm in diameter, have been discovered in Kremenchuk following a Russian attack. Their resemblance to toys or balls makes them particularly dangerous for children - police reports.
