Certain smart asses love to question why the giant eagles didn't just take Frodo straight to Mordor. In these post WWII books couldn't the eagles be an analogy for the Americans, good friends, who come through in time of need, but whose tardiness greatly increases the suffering of their allies?

I'm reading the rules for Oath, and this is another #boardgame that should have been a video game. Any time you're designing a game, and you have the players walking through a long set of steps with the rulebook open, or following a complex flowchart, stop. Then hire a software developer.
