We disagree. I look and see that MAGA won. Complacency fell to anger. Empathy fell to spite.
The line is gone. To rebuild, we have to recognize the flames took everything. What is left isn't load-bearing in its current form.

The solution isn't to resist. The solution is to retake. To reclaim. To start the new war, at every level from city to state to Federal.

They are not mutually exclusive. But I think not recognizing the ideological extremism as a factor in to the current once-GOP's success is failing to, as you say, know the opponent.

4. Working on myself continues. Rebuilding health, continuing therapy, deeper meditation, more Wiccan rituals. Maybe past-life exploration and/or reconnecting with spirit guides. I am in a completely different world-frame than 3 years ago. Crazy. Then again, so is a 2nd Trump presidency.
