What's a minor grammatical error you see people casually make but it's clear what they mean, so it's thoroughly unnecessary to correct it? For me, it's "lightening" (gerund of "to lighten", i.e. shedding weight) vs. "lightning" (noun, electricity). Though a "lightening bolt" sounds convenient...
