I'm highly doubtful that Threads will embrace Fediverse and Activityhub. - Threads gains absolutely nothing from Fediverse / ActivityPub integration. - It's major technical burden to implement and maintain for zero benefit.

Incorrect. Without "those", the app and your data will always be up for sale to the highest bidder. Decentralization depreciates the value of a single instance (e.g. bsky.app), and makes it impossible/unappealing for the next Elon to buy your shitposting platform.
