What PERFECT standalone film absolutely DID NOT need a sequel?

Age yourself with a movie you saw in the theater 🎥 #filmsky

If you see this, post a skeleton!

So, I expected this to be good because you all said it was good (you were right!) but I wasn't expecting the plot to feel this fresh. There are a handful of templates the vast majority of animated movies follow, and this is doing something else. Cool!

This is good. Not that there's a new disease, that's potentially bad. Or not. We don't know whether this is dangerous. Could be nothing. But it's really good they're studying it this early. They found it before there's been a single known human infection - that's great! More science!

I grew up in Maine, and can confirm that the people of that state do not respond well to anyone in authority telling them what to do.

Cybertrucks are really expensive, and it's probably hard to afford groceries while paying one off. I think it's great Brooklyn is helping this guy out by giving him free eggs. One less thing he has to worry about.

Along with The Last Unicorn and Secret of NIMH, Watership Down was part of an unofficial trilogy of animated classics that traumatized my generation for life. 10/10 - perfect movie

The best Bond movie is Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, and the best Bond is Rebecca Ferguson.

The Rings of Power: Season Three, featuring Daniel Craig as James Bond. Do it, you cowards.

If you were an alien reading about human entertainment from across the vast gulf of space, I could understand thinking 007 could be a shared universe, on the grounds that it has more than one character. But humans (exempting executives) intuitively understand that isn't how it works.

About once a year I make the mistake of replying to something on NextDoor, and my life becomes infinitely more stupid. I know this, but... these people are losing their shit because our state is considering spending 2 million dollars to redesign our ugly ass flag. That's million, with an "m."

A better way to phrase this might be that while the first two Sonic movies were content to be dumb kids flicks, the third tries to be a little more, and - in my opinion at least - this was a mistake.

Sonic 3 is less stupid than the first two movies (derogatory).

Okay, setting aside the "what an asshole" response for a moment, if I were selling a massive part of a company, I might refrain from talking shit about it and potentially reducing its value, but what do I know: I'm not a huge asshole.* *Well, not THAT big of an asshole, at the very least.

What's a movie that is wildly considered bad but you love it proudly? Setting some ground rules for myself for what counts as "widely considered bad": 1. Less than 40% on RT 2. Excludes anything that's been reappraised (Speed Racer is one of my favorites, but that's not all that unusual anymore).

I have a business trip coming up, and if... you know... make sure everyone knows these assholes got me killed. Thanks in advance!
