I know it seems improbable that the movie about the policeman with a dog's head sewn on to his body is actually a beautiful commentary on loss, fatherhood, & the meaning of family, but it is. Watch it if you desperately need a laugh or the cinematic equivalent of a dog laying his head on your lap.

Fun Fact: In a scene Kevin O'Connor gets beat up by mercenaries. He was given padding to wear under his costume & was assured he wouldn't get hurt. By the 3rd take he was covered in bruises. Steven Sommers felt so bad, he promised him a part in his next movie. So, he casted him as Beni in The Mummy
