The US is abandoning Europe. Trump et al are letting on the US leaving NATO. The EU is assessing future Ukrainian support. Fr, GB and Ger may send combat forces. A treaty is unlikely. Russia is now seen as a US partner. Everything is ripe for an expanded European war. Just a matter of time.

There is a lot of noise about Trump using Federal military personnel to assist ICE in the roundup and deportation of illegal immigrants. The “Posse Comitatus Act” of 1878 makes this use of troops unlawful. There are limitations and exclusions, but none apply to immigration enforcement!
