"We want authentic queer voices but don't you dare let a homophobic utterance leave the lips of your fictional character"

how is every single queer erotica collection always welcome to BUCKETS OF GOREFUCK, we are a subversive transgressive indie collection. please read our submission guidelines! Submission Guidelines ▪︎ no gore ▪︎ no fuck ▪︎ no buckets

Well, it's disjointed and full of weird typos and I think the ending is probably too sweet, but I just wrote draft 1 of my horror novella.

NEW: A group known as the 'puppygirl hacker polycule' has leaked thousands of police training & policy manuals from departments across the country www.dailydot.com/debug/lexipo...

Hey Boston! I’m coming thru to read with u at T4T at Model Cafe Wednesday night.

don't miss this, at the Model in Allston

Have you ever considered a story where upsetting things happen to transfeminine bodies but here's the twist it was written by a trans woman? (It's me, I think about this a lot, also I'm writing about one of those stories)

It’s that time again: the B&N pre-order sale! No better time to place an order for “Amplitudes: Stories of Queer and Trans Futurity,” out May 27th from @erewhonbooks.bsky.social, and get 25% off in the process while supporting a diverse and resistant collection of queer/trans artists.

"Cyberpunk is best when it focuses on the body." In this new interview, @robotleblanc.bsky.social and @tenacity.bsky.social discuss the new anthology Embodied Exegesis, plus what a trans cyberpunk future might hold: reactormag.com/living-in-a-...

This happened *really* slowly, ~11 years from first eggshell crack to last, but an important moment was when I joined a Discord server as "Esther (she/her)". I assumed I'd either feel really weird or gender-euphoric. Instead, I just felt normal, and that's when I was like, fuck this is probably real

I think my current wip is going to be set in late 2024. Every year before it was fucked in really specific ways and the immediacy of what's going on makes those years feel like forever ago.

Authors, if you see this, it’s a sign to post the first line of your book: Lev signed a standard lease that had a standard subtextual clause. - wip novella

Whoa whoa whoa my story Rachel is at a Protest is on the Locus Recommended Reading List for 2024. Wow wow ok. You can vote for it for a Locus Award, if you want to!

Actually, being trans is really cool. Someone should tell most people about this.

It still feels impossible that I'm in this anthology, along with some of my favorite authors but: I am in this anthology

‘Amplitudes: Stories of Queer and Trans Futurity’ is available for preorder wherever fine books are sold, due out on May 27th—and these are all the folks whose work I’m honored to present: Esther Alter - Bendi Barrett - Ta-wei Chi, trans. Ariel Chu - Colin Dean - Maya Deane - Dominique Dickey [1/2]

We failed to stop fascism's rise. Now it's dancing about on the White House lawn. I don't know how to fix all this but I do know that the shit we've been doing won't get us out of this one. shatterzone.substack.com/p/we-failed-...

Oh hey I've got a very good very gross poem in Rose Books Reader and you can preorder it now www.instagram.com/p/DFFrsERJH0I/

The thing about being a trans woman is that there's literally nothing you can do to keep scary people from hating you and wanting you to die. You might as well be a completely authentic freak pervert, because no matter how polite and withdrawn you are they will hate you anyway.

Hey, if an author tells you in the cover letter that she's trans, and the story is about some T4T Alternate Lifestyle Decisions, and that's not really your thing, you can send a form rejection, not whatever the fuck this is

The Internet was more fun when you had to really go looking for things

The ceasefire *might* slow down the genocide, and definitely won't stop it. But that the fact that there is a ceasefire is, still, a reason to celebrate. Free Palestine.

Have you considered a woman who fantasizes what aftercare would be like with her evil roommate

be cool if we remembered 2017-2021 & put substantive evil over flash. what am i supposed to do here? join an anti-trump pro-canadian-sovereignty militia? it’s a good time to shore up your community. there’s policy being written locally. save panic for shit you can act on. you aren’t inexhaustible.

Have you ever considered two women holding spears and goading each other into taking a wrong step

ACK!! I am so thrilled that EMBODIED EXEGESIS won the award for best anthology!!! Thank you so much to everyone who voted, and to Bethany for all the amazing hard work of creating this award.
