In the 14 years one professor has worked at Broward College, his salary has risen from $56k to $67k — or declined by 15% when adjusting for inflation. It's taken me a long time to call myself disabled, despite officially carrying said title per the VA - ableism is real. It took even longer to voice my needs of my kindred & in my community in lieu of illness/disability even though there's so many SHITTY responses when you do. The battle is real.

My daughter’s speech therapist went out of business because Medicaid reimbursement rates were too low. We do not have Medicaid. I’m going to keep posting this until people understand that when Medicaid gets cut everyone loses services.
