If #tariffs are bad for consumers inside a country, why are other countries retaliating against Trump with tariffs "against" the USA? Are they not just causing inflation in their own country?

You know what? The EU & UK should put tariffs on US goods (from red states) in solidarity with Canada and Mexico. Rather than watching others get bullied and waiting our turn - we should unify against this bullying until the bully drops that behaviour.

A dog lying slaughtered among rubble, victim of the 18 March 1938 bombing of Barcelona by the fascist Italian air force, allied to Franco. By the great Kati Horna who often focused on the back story, on women, children and this poor animal, its black eyes still seeming to look into us today.
