When Wenger teams would lose form, he would dial it all back to basics and make us hard to beat. I think Arteta should take the same approach, particularly in the Champions League. Arsenal still have a top drawer defence and midfield, we should embrace our inner Stoke and Stoke our way to CL glory.

Arteta is a top manager and has turned Arsenal from a clown club to title contenders. He is the right man for the job. However, he is not above criticism. His approach to player fatigue and rotation needs work. What are the medical team advising, advise better

Thank god Arsenal have the weekend off! Let's not go to Dubai or do any pressing drills. Massages instead

Btw, all the King Kai Havertz haters can jump in a lake I know he misses big chances, but his value to the team is really apparent now that he is missing

Multi tasking is overrated

At the start of the season, I didn't think I would be overly concerned about Forest away. Injuries, poor squad building and good work by Nuno have changed my tune. We have to get the basics right and hope to score and not concede, What a tactical genius I am.

We don't have a functioning forward line We needed the rest of the team to play impeccably, they didn't, possibly as a result of not having the normal players ahead of them I had hoped the players coming in would do enough to carry the day. But it's a big ask. Injuries and investment have cost us

Poor performance, we created some chances, but could not get the basics right, time and again. With a second string forward line, the rest of the team had to be on it but there were too many simple errors. Oh well, sin e

It's bad enough having to listen to Rio's 'wisdom' but in the Irish studio, Damien Delaney has announced with great gusto that Merino 'is not a striker ' I now feel enlightened

Big performance needed today We should have a bit more at home with Jose Merinho up front Come on you Gunners!!

Feyenoord or PSV sounds good to me, though I assume they are in good form to get this far. Looking forward to the draw on Friday

Positive thoughts for Tomi, hope his recovery goes well. I would love to see a fit Tomi back in the squad next season.

Inside my head: 'Its on!!' No strikers, it's not on' 'But take it one game at a time, Martinelli back then Saka back' 'But no strikers ' 'Its on!!'

What's the bets that Saka will play 90 minutes for England v Albania 😁

A crowd of 33,000 at the Bohs v Rovers Dublin derby. There is some interest in the League of Ireland after all. Great crowd Great way to start off the season Great win for Bohs

I was listening to the Arsenal Opinion podcast during the week. They put forward the idea of Merino as our league saving striker. 10 goals between now and the end of the season, that said. big pair of eejits, I thought. How wrong I was. Let's hope he can keep it up.

Seriously Best strikers ever? One from Suarez, R9 Henry or Merino Honest answers only

Poor auld Raheem... nothing went right for him today. That front three worries me, however, Merinos R9 vibe allows me to feed my ridiculous optimism Go Arsenal

Mikel Merino, like prime VanNistlerooy... league wrapped up

We should be strong enough for Leicester, but it won't be plain sailing, I would say Ethan will be the key. Come on you Gunners!!

Right, Leicester V Arsenal, who's hammy is going today?

If Havertz wasn't injured, the Liverpool draw would be a chink of hope....tis hard to believe there is there still hope but one game at a time, let's see

No strikers! Simple solution Practice only corners at training. We are good at defending and will win all of our remaining games 1 nil, scoring from corners. Can you imagine how raging little Gary will be It'll all be worth it

I am a very positive and optimistic Arsenal fan, but Jesus fucking Christ

I'm sick of new words. We should only have new words for new things. We don't need new words for things that have been around for ages, like a banner What the fucks a tifo anyway? And is an app not just a yoke on your phone

If Arsenal respond brilliantly to warm weather training, then surely we should set up a training base in the south of Spain and train there, flying in to England for our matches. Simple, EPL and Champions League winners for the next 20 years...and Ben Whites tan, imagine!!

If Martinelli is out for a month, it means he will miss the Leicester, West Ham and Forest matches. Poss back for Man Utd and Champions league. It'll probably be Ethan while he is out, hope it's not too much attrition on his body. I am sure Sterling will take some minutes too.

What's the story with Reiss, he must be there or thereabouts with his hamstring, can we recall him

Surely we have to drop our press or we will completely exhaust our remaining fit attacking players. I feel we have not pressed this season as much as we did last. It's one of our attacking weapons to deal with the low block It's going to be a tough end of the season for our attackers

Who came up with the phrase "they want their cake and eat it" If you wanted a cake and didn't eat it, that would be wrong

Newcastle seem to have our number It's not rocket science, they defend in numbers and catch us on the break. They have 2 form players in Isaac and Gordon that punish us. If we conceded first, we are fucked. We had to come out last night but we need to keep it tight early on in our league game

The club should take us all to Dubai after that. A few laughs with the boys in the sun.

Not much in the way of positives to take out of that. Sometimes you just have to take your beating.

Man, it is not going out way. Best of luck to Newcastle in the Final

I always thought if we get past the Citeh game still in touch, get players back and add a serious attacking option that we would be in with a good shout Not adding the attacker leaves us really exposed to fatigue at the end of the season.

I am still on a high from the Citeh win. I am putting off letting our lack of transfers interfere with my buzz.

They say that when you stand up to a playground bully, they crumble...looks like that is what is happening with the Haalands, they didn't even apologise after the game at the Etihad but are now whinging about how mean Arsenal are.

I find it amusing that pundits and rival fans are more annoyed by Arsenal's treatment of Haaland than they were by his carry on at the Etihad. That was ' part of football '.

The indignation from Citeh fans over Arsenals lack of sportsmanship is hilarious, did they see what they did at the game is the Etihad? And Silva kicked our 18 year old. Sorry Man City, no higher morale ground for you

Great contribution from Raya for this win, 2 great saves at 1 nil with the game to be played for.

The Arsenal Ladies have done their job, time for the Gentlemen to step up

So the first part of Eunans super fun weekend hasn't gone the plan, but I got some gardening done. Need an Arsenal win tomorrow.
