Just recorded Episode 15 of the Euro Step Brit podcast. Hopefully out in the next few days. Thanks to everyone who's been listening in, your support and downloads/listens are much appreciated. You're helping the pod to grow and get more attention, so I am very grateful.

If all goes well, Episode 15 will be recorded on Friday. 😀

On a recent episode of the podcast, former @bristolflyers.bsky.social fan favourite Mike Vigor had this message for Flyers fans. Look for the Euro Step Brit Podcast on your favourite podcast host to check out the full episode and every other episode to date. youtu.be/Ilrvg870HS0

Thank you for all your feedback via DM on the Euro Step Brit podcast. I'd just like to point out that any mention of @danroutledge.bsky.social on the pod is purely coincidental. I'm working hard to find guests who don't know him! 😂😉

As if we didn't already know - the potential owners of the new league are dodgy, with ties to 777. Given their past ties to British basketball, it couldn't possibly be that the BBF, desperate for a bidder to validate their scheme, turned to an old contact (using a proxy bidder)?

Did we just witness the craziest week of the season in SLB? Blowouts, OTs, wild swings in comebacks, there was certainly a lot for @shieldsbrief.bsky.social and I to go through this week in SNB... linktr.ee/sundaynightb...

I really enjoyed taking a trip down memory lane, you’re a true professional @niallmgray.bsky.social ! Thanks for the airtime!

Delighted that @antrowe33.bsky.social is on the podcast this week. From Plymouth to Leicester via the USA and France, we take a look back at Ant's career and also talk about commentary as well. Links in next post!

Delighted to confirm that this week's guest is Ant Rowe! Episode is being released today.

Basketball fans in Europe, check out this video by @ballineurope.bsky.social www.youtube.com/watch?v=_X7h...

The next episode. Is it @danroutledge.bsky.social again?!!!! Is it @antrowe33.bsky.social ? Is it both of them? Or is it all a bluff and it's actually the person who took the photo?

Episode 14 of the podcast has been recorded, and should be edited and released - time permitting - some time over the next few days. More details on the guest when it's nearly ready to go!

Need a basketball fix during a break for Euroleague and EuroCup? If you have a Euroleague ID, they have you covered, as they have agreed a deal to show the LBA Final 8! Games start tomorrow! No idea if any world feed comms before anyone asks.

Really pleased with the 1st weekend numbers on this one. The last 3 episodes since the break have done really well. If all goes well, Ep 14 will be out next weekend!

Ep 13 is out! In this episode we catch up with former @bristolflyers.bsky.social fan favourite Mike Vigor, who also spent a year here with the Plymouth Raiders. We look back on his time in Bristol and Plymouth and talk about what he's been up to since then. Links in next post!

In this episode we catch up with Siobhán Prior, the former Nottingham Wildcat player who is now Director and WEABL Head Coach of their academy. We look at family connections to Nottingham basketball, discuss Siobhán's playing days and talk about the Academy role, and why it means so much to her.

Thanks to everyone who has listened to the podcast so far, really appreciate it. Next episode drops on Friday morning at 9am and guest this week is Mike Vigor! Thanks for following this page and please subscribe to the podcast if you don't already. It all helps grow the pod. Thanks!

Clue 3: One of his former teams was the Plymouth Raiders, but it's not the team he's most remembered playing for...

I really like @danroutledge.bsky.social and @shieldsbrief.bsky.social That is all.

Just putting the finishing touches to Episode 13 of the podcast, which will be out on Friday. Can you guess who it is? Clue 1: Played four seasons in the British Basketball League. Clue 2: Played for 2 different teams. If no-one gets it, I'll post more clues.

This one is a must listen. Absolutely loved Siobhan's openness and honesty about her journey in basketball

A great interview with someone who continues to be a strong role model in the women’s game 👏🏼

If you haven't checked out the @eurostepbrit.bsky.social podcast yet, here's some of the guests we've had on so far. For a complete list of episodes, you can find the Euro Step Brit on your favourite podcast host site... (As always thanks to @ahmedphotos.bsky.social for providing most photos)

Ever wondered how the popular podcast Sunday Night Breakdown came to be? Back in Episode 8 of the @eurostepbrit.bsky.social, @danroutledge.bsky.social shared the story of how he @shieldsbrief.bsky.social started their weekly show. youtu.be/n-Q2xY00-II

Bristol Flyers wrap up their ENBL fixtures with an 82-77 victory at Keila Coolbet (Estonia). Flyers' four-game winning streak is their best since entering the ENBL in 2023. Lifetime, the Flyers have 8 wins and 9 losses (47%) Flyers excel on the road. It was the 6th road win in 9 ENBL games. (67%)

If all goes well this week we'll have 3 episodes in the can and be able to have a nice little run of weekly episodes. Aiming to have the next episode up this coming weekend and it'll be another one where we've been able to secure one of your requests -- so keep them coming!

ICYMI new episode dropped yesterday!

NEW EPISODE! We catch up with Andy Thomson, who had a very successful career in the former British Basketball League, winning 20 titles before his retirement in 2020. We look back at his time in the BBL, as well as spells abroad in Spain and France, and find out what he's been up to since retiring.

If you are interested in the NBL/WNBL in England, make sure you follow John Hobbs.

Recorded some interviews recently for the podcast and have spent this evening busily editing the first one. Just need to find the time to finish it and upload! Also planning more "Meet the Commentators" episodes as those episodes are doing good numbers here in the UK.
