Trying to keep up with daily habits. I have been using #Readwise for several years for spaced repetition and to broadly manage/review highlights. I just have not been consistent with my daily review. Back on track now though beating my previous streak as of today! Here's to 68 more days!

Reading Tiny Experiments by Anne-Laure Le Cunff, and was struck by the idea of keeping "field notes" on my day. Similar to the interstitial journal concept I already use in #ObsidianMD, but I had a lot of extras in my daily note as well. My new template for daily use over the next two weeks.

I try very hard, I really do, to only grab the PDFs with I crowdfund a #TTRPG. But all of the really fun extras - they call to me. If nothing else I excel at being a consumer!

I have toyed with #Linux on the desktop a couple of times using either WSL to learn, or live OS installs on USB devices. Yesterday though I installed #PopOS on a spare drive on a #MiniPc (dual booted with W11). I like the minimalist desktop I can get with Gnome and overall Pop seems to work well.

I am really enjoying planning out my system, and hauling goods to make it happen. I am building in Hyades Sector RO-P B6-5 and planning to make a civilian based, high-tech economy with high technology and standard of living scores, along with decent security. I really quite like how the orbital construction platforms look for colonization in #elitedangerous. Slowly working on adding a few new installations to my colonized system this weekend. Sadly, my main station was one that they were not able to bring online - next week I hope!

I will add, I am not sure I would have wanted to try the colonization without the changes in #elitedangerous that allow for super cruise assist and of course frame shift overdrive. Makes the whole colonization process less stressful.
