One of the best things about working in IT is that some places let you go through the recycling like a little tech racoon looking for parts to upgrade the home rig. I've never purchased a laptop for myself; they've all been trash me downs.

Lack of diversity is starting to trigger my fight or flight sometimes. Like, the more white guys there are in a room the more likely it is for someone to say something awful, and I don't want the stress of having to fight them.
