Like, he loved big spectacle and I remember him telling SFX he'd want any adaptations to get the visuals right, which this will. But man, of all the companies to make the anti-capitalist space hippies show...

Need to see this

Just realised I'm missing a sold out show on Monday :( Also wish I'd managed to catch some of his shows with Mitski

I saw him do a biggish Bristol gig one time, and it was great. Then he did a lunchtime show the next day on his own in a tiny pub in Bath and hung around afterwards and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen.

Absolutely. I used to have that running in one tab and a Canadian weather station on RadioGarden (equally broken now) in another for maximum vibes.

Anyway, there's no real end to this story. The bus comes and I go home, but also I clearly died in the MRI machine and am a ghost now, rip in peace etc.

Finally find the bus stop and a nearby Tesco Express, so go in to buy some tomatoes. My friend Stu is bafflingly in there. I say "Hey Stu." Guy turns around and it's not him, but he's *identical* to Stu (who I've known 20+ years) only with a moustache. I've found his Mirror Universe doppelganger.

I finish up and leave, to discover there is no bus stop going in the opposite direction. The whole village is on some baroque one way system. I walk around in the dark for 40 mins, seeing two other people. Eventually realise the stop I need is 10 mins away and means walking down unlit roads. Cool.

A few minutes in the DJ announces that I'm listening to "Bridlington’s favourite radio station." That can't be right. Bridlington is my home town. It is also 200 miles away from where I live now. I thought I'd misheard but he said it several times throughout and I'm 99% certain that's what he said.

Getting an MRI (nowt scary). The hospital is on a business estate next to a car showroom. MRI is fine. They put your head in this plastic cage so you can't move and play dance music while the machine goes BZZZZTTT and THRRRM and GDGDGDGD. It sounds like something you might buy on tape from Boomkat.

Made so many friends there. Started a label largely because of it. Enjoyed FyreFest and Gibbo and Horse eBooks. All gone now, like tears in rain.

I remember hating this at the time, but it's startling how good the first 45 minutes of this are - and then it makes a rapid series of Poor Choices

Somewhat perfectly, I have this one too, but it's vanished into the depths of my house. Anyway, you can browse the whole lot here: www.gregthings.com/the-white-lo...
