When he was younger, Rattle protected Squeak from falling into a pit of corruptive blood leaking from the critter they inhabit's body and, being made of diaper material, got his body soaked with it. Occasionally this corruption will come out when he's feeling feisty, and he can use it in battle!

Doodles of our diapercritters! When either of them get too worked up, gel beads in their diaper material will expand outwards rapidly. For Squeak, that approximates wetting due to its location, while Rattle's looks like messing :3 Perfectly sanitary slime, tho it does make them flustered~

More rattle and squeak! Their environment is very kidcore, as one would expect for a savanna encased entirely within a diapercritter.
