Russian Archeological Institute of Constantinople (Русский археологический институт в Константинополе) 1894 - 1914, founded by the famous Byzantinist Fyodor Ivanovich Uspenskii. Wiki says it was founded in 1895. I knew that it existed, but I didn’t know we were neighbors.

My latest article is in the oven. It should be available open access in a few weeks. Personally it’s an homage to two of my favourite historians: Stefanos Yerasimos and Ernst Kantorowicz.
