-25.1° this morning, and tonight is supposed to be even colder. I'll still whack my son's head, though, when he moans that he wants 90°.

A smidgen of sun today, and next weekend is the next hurdle of winter, the coldest day of the year (statistically), so I'm looking forward to getting more pictures of those amazing little creatures called hummingbirds.

End of December in Minnesota, 42°, I did chores without a coat or gloves. There's no snow, and rain showers are in the forecast. But climate change/global warming is a hoax, you know.

So much beauty in our lives, from a sunset to a nebula.

Sing like no one is listening, love like you've never been hurt, dance like no one is watching, and live like it is heaven on earth

I've posted several times thinking 'It's not Twitter, it'll be different here', but yet, even here, the scammers are champing at the bit to get someone to fall for their scam. Sorry, but I don't want to invest in bitcoin or religious scams, nor do I want a sexy lady friend.

Such a silly baby,

It's that time of the year, 27 qts. of hamburger and two qts. of beef broth canned so far. A nice day so far, sunny, no wind and in the teens, I soaked up some sun when we went out to do chores. It sure felt good.

It's cold today! -13° last night.

I am still amazed at the beauty of the northern lights we got to see earlier this year.

Poor puppy is too tired to even sit up to lick the plate.

It hit 50° today. Not quite barefoot weather, but darned close.

I started out with four Hoyas 4-5 yrs. ago, and got hooked on them. I have several dozen now, and they are kind of fun to have. The stem that develops for blossoms is called a peduncle. Such a strange name. You have to be patient, because it takes quite a while for the blossoms to develop.

I was thrilled to see a Cooper's hawk sitting in the tree outside my window. I grabbed the phone and quick shot a picture before it flew off. I suspect it was hunting the birds at my feeders.

Snow squalls and a wicked wind today blowing the snow horizontally, so I'm posting a picture of warmer days.

Struggling through the darkest days of winter with snow flurries today, so I'm posting a picture I took with my first digital camera, a Nikon Coolpix 950, the coolest camera I've ever had.

It would be nice if I could automatically not see any posts containing the 'f' word. I was hoping to leave that behind at twitter.

It's that time of the year, cold and easy to see the beautiful cardinals.

One of the worst things about getting old is losing the ability to do things you used to do. I miss my RV. I miss driving roads I've never been on before.

It just hit me, there is a feeling of freedom here. There are no MAGA trolls ready with their ridicule and conspiracy threats. Nice!!

54° and sunny, barefoot time in Minnesota, mid November. Yah, global warming/climate change is a hoax.🔥

At what age do you quit feeling guilty about sitting back in a chair and closing your eyes and doing nothing? (I'm 72)
