What drives me crazy about the anti-DEI rhetoric is everyone wants to be judged on merit. But you can't be judged on merit if you can't even get in the door because you don't fit some prejudiced definition of who is capable and who isn't

It is perfectly legal to know your rights and to educate others about them, too. EVERYONE in the United States, citizen or not, has rights. I will not allow this administration to intimidate us from helping you know about them. Here’s our shareable guide ⬇️: (pt. 1/2)

It’s fun starting a new hobby with ADHD because I never know if I’ve found a new lifelong passion or if I’m going to spend $2000 on stuff and immediately lose all interest

I am proud of all the people who DIDN'T understand Kendrick's performance taking the time to LEARN more about the cultural impact & significance. We see you. We thank you. We appreciate you.

"The halftime show was boring." Look, you may not be familiar with the genius of Kendrick Lamar and couldn't quite hear the lyrics and don't know the backstory and the symbolism went over your head, but trust me when I say you'll want to read an analysis of it and rewatch. A true masterpiece.

All the analysis of the Kendrick Lamar halftime show is my new Roman Empire.

If you are a yt person over 50, and you’re about to give your negative opinion of the halftime show, THINK: [T]hings don’t have to be “for you” to be good art. [H]eck, Kendrick has a Pulitzer and [I] don’t think you do so maybe you are [N]ot qualified to speak on the caliber of his art [K]?

I loved everything about the Super Bowl

I don’t think I would ever make fun of Canadians even if I wanted to. I think if you grew up in the 80s or 90s in the US, you’ve always had, at least, the sneaking suspicion that they are MUCH funnier than we are.

Remember when we found out Gen Z searches TikTok when doing “research” instead of actual search engines & we freaked out for obvious reasons? Then years later we found out younger Gen Z & Alpha uses LLM’s like ChatGPT when doing “research”? Informational illiteracy has always been my largest worry

I think countries around the world should levy tariffs specifically on Tesla in response to US tariffs, as well as banning Twitter as a national security threat driving a wedge between our co-dictators may be the most effective thing they can do

I haven’t lived through the collapse of a civilisation before I study history so I have read the guidebooks, but they don’t quite capture the experience of being there

I grew up around here. The closest airport is over 4 miles away. Wtf is going on?

It’s SO. FUCKING. HARD. But she’s right.

34 years later, I still feel those songs in my very bones. #Nirvana altered my brain chemistry in the most wonderful way. So thankful to have come of age with their music. #FireAid

There is literally no way that’s not exactly what he meant.

It’s disgusting how blatantly we’re being manipulated

I’ve read my share of dystopian literature. The 2025 American storyline so far is a bit over the top. Send it back to the editor.

This is a very niche history joke only those who were assigned William Henry Harrison for their 5th grade presidential book report will understand.

Requesting a medically induced coma until 2029

It’s wild growing up and realizing that most adults are not smart. I had my suspicions as a kid, but I did not realize it was this dire.

Luigi Mangione was taken into custody just as Daniel Penny walked free. The ruling class wants us to celebrate the murder of the vulnerable and condemn the murder of the powerful. They fail to see how killing the powerless breeds violence against the powerful. www.jphilll.com/p/who-gets-t...

I’ve decided to leave Scientific American after an exciting 4.5 years as editor in chief. I’m going to take some time to think about what comes next (and go birdwatching), but for now I’d like to share a very small sample of the work I’ve been so proud to support (thread)
