Serenity. On the surface it's a movie about a ragtag crew of space pirates, but there's a romance story, a tale of how far a brother would go to make sure his sister is safe, one of belief vs faith and more I can't list. Joss Whedon might be an asshat now but he was in his bag for Firefly/Serenity.

Imma be honest. It's really easy for me to boycott. I'm broke. So many of us have already cut out any "extras" we used to enjoy say 5 years ago. I used to get my nails done pretty regular, eat out once a week, purchase clothes when I saw something nice, travel for concerts. All cut on my end.
