IMO the main issue of the price of Switch 2 games is the optics of it all. Adjusting for inflation, $60USD in 2017 is roughly $78 today, so it’s stayed mostly on par with the release of a new console

gosh, you really can feel the breathe of the wild / tears of the kingdom DNA in xenoblade x. monolith is just so fucking good at making open worlds that feel intentionally crafted. every couple steps reveals something that tempts or teases you, and its rarely a breeze to reach it. this game rocks
