Question: what species are these birds? Somebody posted this picture taken in Malawi with a caption saying these are two barn swallows. To me they look more like house martins, or maybe they're an African species that I don't know. Does somebody know? #birds #birdwatching #Africa

I was explaining something to the first graders and somebody asked me a question I didn't know the answer to. Normally I would be honest and suggest we'd look it up, but now I replied: "Sorry, I can't tell you, that's a secret." Sadly that had the opposite effect of what I'd hoped.
