I think the most important thing to teach students isn’t finding the truth but rather being able to critically think and have empathy. Different perspectives have different views and sometimes there are to many lies and there never really is a truth #edchat

Thanks for joining us tonight for #tlap! I adore my Monday nights with y'all!! You all CRUSHED that!! Have an incredible week! And...let's Flip that old quote!! www.tarammartin.com/flip-it-with...

A3: Self awareness, listening and empathy is the biggest piece here. In all relationships if we can incorporate those 3 aspects it no longer focuses on blame but it focuses on responsibility and taking the next steps to heal and resolve the situation #tlap

A2: I remember when I was coaching basketball and a student got cut from the team and instead of stopping their pursuit of basketball, they worked out every lunch in the weight room. I added him back and he ended up starting every game (winning MIP). An example how "failing" can be learning #tlap

Thanks for having me! #tlap

This is very powerful: "with great responsibility comes great power". This quote flips the whole notion of power to ownership. Your no longer being responsible for power but you are taking the leadership role and assuming the responsibility as you feel liable opposed to controlling #tlap

Aman Sahota, co-founder of Factors Education down in Toronto Canada and one of the things I cannot wait to do when I get home from work is having a nice cup of chai :). The simple things in life make life the sweetest #tlap

Was looking forward to this but really hope you are well and safe! Prayers up #edtechchat

For me durable skills are all the things Ai can’t do yet…. Leadership, adaptability, collaboration, resilience, grit, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, relationship building etc #eduskyai

Aman Sahota from Toronto Canada, I am a founder in the edtech space :) #EduSkyAi

Would love to be apart of it, thank you! #levelupedu

Hope you feel better and that is super cool! #levelupedu

How can I forget among us! That was a Covid life saver with so much arguments and fun! #levelupedu

It would be really cool for one of the #levelupedu chats we all play among us and communicate through #bluesky chat

How can I forget among us! That was a Covid life saver with so much arguments and fun! #levelupedu

Something I would like to do and incorporate into the technology we are building :) #levelupedu

A4: Simple choices like selecting character type at the beginning of the game (healers, archers, fighters etc) and getting students to think about the ethics behind the decision is interesting. Also getting students to reflect how their personality ties to character choice is engaging #levelupedu

Yep even things like spatial arrangement. If you have a garbage dump beside residential areas how does that impact towns, where should you place your roads etc #levelupedu

A3: Not in the classroom but I saw a post of how #minecraft allowed Ai #agents into the game and they started creating their own society #levelupedu Could be an interesting convo starter!

A1: I think having games with roleplaying is very engaging. Like having students create a smart city with a mayor, principal, etc would be cool #levelupedu
