Elected officials respond to pressure from the people they represent. Even if you supported Trump for president, no one voted for him or Elon Musk to be king. We have to demand our members of Congress put their oath to the Constitution & their constituents first, over their support for Trump.

Trump continues to implement Project 2025, cutting off critical law enforcement resources to protect election security. This comes after the 2024 election saw a higher level of foreign threats than in 2016 + 2020. Trump is weakening America’s ability to protect our elections.

She should have resigned on the spot. What did we used to say? Everything Trump touches dies.

There’s so much chaos coming from the Trump administration — but don’t miss this: Georgia Republicans just dropped a new voter suppression agenda. They want to end early voting, kill the vote-by-mail system, and make it harder to register to vote. Big fight ahead. ⬇️

NEW: Last year Georgia’s MAGA State Election Board passed a slew of election rule changes just before Election Day. A judge blocked them, calling them “unconstitutional” and “illegal.” Now, Georgia Republicans want to make those same rules into state law.

Today, we remember Rosa Parks on what would’ve been her 112th birthday. Her courage and determination ignited a movement that changed the world. She once famously said, “I would like to be remembered as a person who wanted to be free... so other people would be also free.”

Buried in Trump’s freeze on federal funding was a direct attack on election security: $55 million in Election Security Grants. It's an assault on election independence that appears rooted in Project 2025. The courts blocked it (for now), but the threat is far from over. ⬇️

🚨The fight over North Carolina’s Supreme Court race is escalating. Republican candidate Jefferson Griffin is challenging over 65,000 ballots after losing by 734 votes. The GOP effort to overturn a legitimate election could be a sign of what’s to come across the country. ⬇️

February 3, 1870: The 15th Amendment promised voting rights wouldn’t be denied based on race. Today, voter suppression laws still target Black and Brown folks. From poll closures to mass voter purges, the tools of suppression may have changed, but the fight for free and fair elections hasn’t.

Black history IS American history. This month, we honor the rich culture, resilience, and enduring legacy of the Black community. Join us in celebrating Black History Month by recognizing the trailblazers who fought for justice and freedom. Their contributions continue to inspire us every day!

You've heard a lot about Trump's freeze of federal funding this week. What you may not have heard — it included an assault on election independence that's straight out of Project 2025. For now, the courts blocked it. But the threat isn't over. ⬇️

It’s getting out of hand. We are watching Project 2025 play out in real time! But we are fighting back to stop them.

Donald Trump wants to restrict voting rights, especially for marginalized communities, and install partisan hacks to manipulate election outcomes. This is not election integrity—it’s election suppression.

Authoritarianism wants you to feel like you’re drowning in chaos — headlines of breaking news, after breaking news. Here are 4️⃣ questions you can ask yourself to help spot genuine threats to our democracy. Read more here: www.ifyoucankeepit.org/p/how-to-pay...

A simple strategy from @protectdemocracy.org to help us sort through manufactured chaos and spot the threats to democracy that really matter. ⬇️

The goal is to overwhelm us so we give up. Don't do that!

No matter what happens in Washington, D.C., know that Fair Fight is always going to protect your rights in Georgia. From voting rights to civil rights, we will never back down.

Among the harmful policies that Donald Trump has put forth, he is directly targeting marginalized communities. Trump has begun rolling back protections for transgender individuals. Stay tuned to learn how you can get involved.

… because excuse me?

It's an awful time where all the ugly, hateful, vengeful, racist, fascist parts of our country are coming into bright light, becoming mainstreamed and normalized rapidly, and enabled by so many collaborators; but we will and must keep fighting.

Remembering a legacy of love, peace, and justice. Dr. Martin Luther King’s dream isn’t over; and it’s our responsibility to keep pushing it forward. Let’s keep fighting for a democracy that works for everyone!

Under Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, families are left behind: ❌ No *real* Medicaid expansion ❌ No affordable housing solutions ❌ Minimum wage stuck at $5.15/hour Kemp wants government to serve corporations, not people. We need leaders who fight for us. RT if you agree!

After losing the North Carolina State Supreme Court race by 734 votes, the Republican candidate is suing to challenge 60,000 of the ballots cast. Among the challenged voters: his Democratic opponent's parents, who have been voting for 50 years. This isn't democracy.

Georgia’s legislative session is business as usual. The high costs of housing, healthcare, and other necessities take a back seat as Republican politicians focus on attacking transgender youth. Encouraging the institutional bullying of kids for political gain is wrong. www.ajc.com/politics/leg...

Amber Nicole Thurman died because of Georgia’s restrictive abortion ban. Lawmakers don’t want to do anything to fix it. Shameful. Call your lawmaker today and tell them to reverse the ban. www.ajc.com/politics/leg...

The Georgia legislative session is officially underway! Time for tough debates, new laws, and progress for our community. Let’s make sure our voices are heard.
