Fun fact: I teach a quantum computing class, and tell the qubit/cubit joke. I can always tell who the Jews in the class are, because they're the only ones who laugh, but I tell the joke anyways because I find it funny even if most of the class doesn't get it.

And apparently, acacia wood qubits have very good T2* times, since the ark remained coherent for more than forty days and nights. Alternative joke: I don't think this is the correct definition of "quantum volume."

Last night I had a thought on connecting Jesus' "Temple Tantrum" with his need to be hosted for the last supper that I'm not sure I've ever heard discussed before on either Jewsky/JTwitter or among Christian allies. I'm curious if anyone else has seen or discussed this.

I'm going to start a @fairyousee.bsky.social style thread about who exactly the money changers in the Temple were. How can we know what these mysterious functionaries were doing with nothing but this vague title, "money changers", to go on?

I had a good discussion about something like this with a friend. Is there a definition of masculinity that isn't *not feminine?*

Eh, the main thing he got in trouble for was for having his pope stand-in be named "the idiot" in the book he wrote after the pope explicitly told him not to write the book. Sure the book was about heliocentrism, but he didn't get in trouble for his beliefs. He got in trouble for insulting power.
