Still alive! Still in full blown packing and redecorating mode, though 😅 Finally got chance to open my game for the first time in a while at the weekend! It’s almost time for a big birthday 🥳

A book cover for my legacy!! I love this so much, thank you @lyaenidae.bsky.social 💕💕💕

I feel like every other week I post on here to say I’m really busy and my story is going on a break, but things are REALLY busy at the moment because we just bought a house! I might not be around here much while I play irl build/buy mode over the next few weeks but I’ll be back soon! 💕

The sudden understanding hit her like a freight train. The nausea and exhaustion she’d put down to her anxiety, the way her most beloved pair of jeans seemed tighter for no reason… It hadn’t even crossed her mind as a possibility, but now it was obvious. She was– Josie: Oh, 𝙛𝙪𝙘𝙠.

Josie shuddered at her pale and clammy complexion in the mirror as she washed her hands. She didn’t look well, that was certain, and she ran through the events of the day in her mind searching for an explanation. Nothing stood out. Nothing except… “𝘈𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘪𝘨𝘨𝘦𝘳?!”

Josie sat back on her heels, catching her breath after she’d been so suddenly and inexplicably unwell. The food had always been good at The Hog Wrangler and Teddy’s meal was fine, so it probably wasn’t the steak. Perhaps it was stress. She 𝘩𝘢𝘥 been sick several times since Blake and Livi’s wedding…

Teddy: Tastes good to me. Did they cook it wrong? Josie: No… It’s fine, but… Teddy: Do you wanna swap? Josie: I think it’s gone bad. Teddy: For real?! I’ll get the waitress– Josie: Don’t… Watcher, I think I’m gonna– I’ll be right back.

Their conversation was interrupted by the arrival of the food. Contented quiet fell over the couple as they tucked into their dinner, Teddy inhaling his like he hadn’t eaten in weeks. Meanwhile, Josie’s meal wasn’t going down quite so well… Josie: 𝘜𝘨𝘩! What’s wrong with this steak?!

The conversation flowed easily, as it always did. Everything from the twin's upcoming birthday, Teddy’s last competition of the season… Everything 𝘣𝘶𝘵 the events in San Myshuno, which Josie was doing her best to forget had ever happened. For tonight, Teddy was happy to do the same.
