Even though I've never been on SNAP or Medicaid, if said programs suffered deep cuts I would be negatively impacted. The store I work at accepts SNAP, and if people on SNAP have less money to spend then my store makes less money and I work less hours and get paid less.

Even if we set aside the specifics, and I don't think we should, the fact that a person who both owns and operates a large government contractor has been given broad and seemingly unchecked authority to reshape government spending is completely bonkers.
