As of June 2024, only 8,464 trans people have a GRC. Do not campaign to make it so trans women and men can be legally their gender if they have one. You’d leave out the majority of trans people. Campaign for us to be recognised as we are, because we are.

Here's the thing I have to stress about this letter: their argument is literally that "the UK Supreme Court Judgement has made life untenable for trans individuals, therefore it's unethical to let children transition if they'll be discriminated against by the policies we pushed for."
